Per MCLE Board of the Supreme Court of Illinois rules, the Midwest Impaired Driving Conference provides this Financial Hardship Policy for those attorneys who wish to attend the conference but for whom the cost creates a barrier or hardship. There is financial assistance to aid Illinois attorneys who cannot afford the registration fee. To qualify, the registering attorney must request that the fee be waived due to a lack of funds in their training budget. Upon approval, the attorney will be granted a password to register as a Guest on the Illinois Truck Enforcement Association website (www.midwesttrafficsafety.org/midc).
According to the MCLE Board rules, as a prosecutor, I request a conference registration fee waiver as my budget does not allow me to pay for such activities. By signing this form, I acknowledge and accept that the waiver of the registration fee will only allow me to attend the sessions of the conference which have been granted Continuing Legal Education (CLE) credit approval and that I will not be allowed to attend the other sessions available to paid registrants and that I will not be able to attend the luncheons on either day of the conference.
